Adventure Story

Ethan and Colton rode the Durango & Silverton Narrow Guage Railroad to Elk Park, and back country drop off point. From there they hiked the Elk Creek trail to the Continental Divide Trail near the abandoned mining town of Bear Town. From there, they hiked South to West Ute Lake, then to Twin Lakes. At Twin Lakes, they took the Rock Creek Trail to Rock Lake, and then down to Moon Lake, and Emerald Lake. Finally, they exited the back country via the Pine Creek Trail and Pine Creek campground.
