Adventure Story

On July 10, 2010, Jon Melby embarks on a US/Canada/Alaska airshow tour.  The tour begins in Red Wing, Minnesota where practice and pre-trip prep begins.  Then fly direct to Colorado, Montana, Alberta - British Columbia - Northwest Territory - Ukon Territory (Candada), then to Alaska.  Finally returning through Canada to Phoenix, Arizona.

Several airshows to include Alamosa, Colorado, Dawson Creek, BC, Yellow Knife, NWT, and Elmendorf AFB (Anchorage, Alaska). 

This is some of the most difficult and challenging cross country flying a pilot can make.  Especially in an airplane that is designed strictly for aerobatics/airshows.
