Adventure Story This adventure was a jaunt up Teewinot Mountain. It was about 5 miles round trip with around 5550 feet of elevation gain to the 12,325 ft (3,757 m) summit. Mostly up steep switchbacking trails and scrambly talus and rock. The view from the top is spectacular. We had one small section of snow to cross that did not merit an ice axe, but it was nice to have a pole of some sort. It took from around 7 am to 3:50 pm with quite some time spent on the pleasant summit. The track didn't manage to register at the parking area at either end. oh well.
