Adventure Story
We hiked in the from the Middle Fork of the Popo Agie trailhead, up the Middle Fork trail and then along the Pinto Park Trail to the Deep Creek Lakes cutoff and then south on the Ice Lakes Trail. After about 17 miles, we camped near a small lake west of that trail. The next day we hiked up to the summit of Wind River Peak (13,192 feet) and back, then headed south past Tayo Park to camp near the Middle Fork of the Popo Agie (at least 8 miles). The final day we hiked 14 miles back out.

There was a lot of spectacular mountain scenery, alpine plants and flowers,  and mosquitos.
