Adventure Story We woke at 530am made coffee and packed the Breakfast Burrito's the Todd's had made us the night b4. Drove to the trail head...4.5 miles of trail running latter we were at the base of Petit Grapon. 10 pithces latter Sam was doing a hand stand on a 10 by 40 foot platform in the sky. THen we rappelled down to the gash a 5 foot wide 40 foot long rock bridge to the base of the Shark's Tooth the only Summit in RMNP that can't be reached without technical rock climbing. it was 4:30pm and we had 4 pitches left. Jason ended up on a 5.9 with one cam, 10 nuts and 4 draws. Dan and I took the 5.4 Dan led the last pitch... I ended up having to rap off the ends of the rope into Dans arms. Then it was 2 miles through scree and trying to avoid getting cliffed out and find the trail before the sunlight disappeared. we were back at the car by 8pm. Eating wild rice soup by 930pm:0
